Getting to know Ready to Dig

With 10 years experience in landscaping, many cold mornings, rainy days, and hot summer afternoons, I managed to tick off my first goal of gaining the New Zealand Certificate in Landscape Construction (Levels 3 & 4).  I take a lot of pride in my qualification, as book work was never my friend. But not only that, I like to think it gives a bit of separation from the cowboys. Being raised to strive for more from an early age, my next step was to take the leap and have a go at being business owner. 

 

Founding Ready to Dig in 2025 has been a long term goal of mine, and although at times it has been stressful, I haven't looked back since. 

 

My passion for working outside started long before I left school. Being lucky enough to grow up in rural Canterbury, I was outside any chance I could get, from building pushbike jumps with my mates, to making motocross tracks around home. Lets just say I know my way around a shovel, wheelbarrow and a digger. The rest of the hands- on building skills came throughout my time as a landscaper.

 

I love a challenge, and to bring someone's dreams into reality. The end result and a happy client makes all the hard labour worth it.
